The Bay Area's transit card, accepted on Muni, BART, Caltrain and other agencies. An adult card costs $3 (no fee when you set up Autoload online). It can also live in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.
SFMTA is retiring the app: it stopped selling single-ride tickets on September 1, 2026, and still sells Day Passes, cable car tickets and Visitor Passports for now.
Transfers: paying with Clipper cash value or a contactless bank card, you get a transfer discount of up to $2.85 when you change to another agency within two hours.
